The MMKSFL proudly became an FA Charter Standard League in 2020, offering everybody a high-quality, safe and enjoyable grassroots experience that is nationally recognised.

What is a Charter Standard League?

The Charter Standard League Programme assesses the league on its ability to provide a high quality, safe and enjoyable football experience against a standard set of criteria. It will also encourage your league to continuously develop, through on-going support from the County FA and the review and update of a league development plan, as part of an annual health check.

What are the benefits?

Working with clubs, volunteers and the Kent FA ensures that the whole grassroots community can benefit.

Having a clear development plan for the next four years, together with support from the Kent FA ensures the following:

What is the criteria met?

The programme is divided into six development areas where the league will set targets to achieve. These areas reflect the approach of the National Game Strategy
